CPR: Update on How to Do Right?
Park Kyu-Nam

Abstract
Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death worldwide. Despite the development of CPR and defibrillation over 40 years ago, most victims of cardiac arrest do not survive to hospital discharge. Recent developments have underscored the importance of CPR quality and the relationship between CPR and defibrillation, suggesting crucial ways to improve our care of cardiac arrest victims and increase survival. In this article, update on CPR from recent research and international guidelines will be discussed.
